I grew up in Hungary in the years following the fall of communism, in a non-affiliated family, and discovered my Jewish identity on my own as a young adult. For the past 15 years, I have been actively involved in the Hungarian Jewish community. I also spent several years living in Israel, fulfilling a long-held family dream, where I immersed myself in the culture, mindset, and the beauty of the Hebrew language.
In Budapest, I have worked for nearly a decade as a program coordinator and community organizer at P2G, with a few years’ break along the way. I am particularly passionate about engaging less-involved individuals and age segments within our Jewish communities and creating opportunities for meaningful connections.
I live in a patchwork family with my husband and our two sons—one I gave birth to, and one I love just as deeply as if I had. Our family also includes Pacsni, our aging lady dog. In my spare time, I enjoy daydreaming about being a famous singer. I am also drawn to contemporary literature and psychology, I like reading articles on these topics.
