About the Event פרטים נוספים

Join our theater workshop, The Bonds Between Us, during which you will partake in dynamic experience, inviting the participants to explore their personal and collective roots, feeling of belonging and solidarity with the Jewish people.

The theatre techniques incorporated into the workshop, encourage participants to bring forward their deep personal feelings, while allowing others to express themselves with respect and acceptance.

My Place in The Jewish Story

Live actors portray the truly amazing story of Judy Feld Carr (A monologue from the play: My Brethren You Are), inviting participants to explore the deep personal, and collective, sources for the sense of belonging and mutual responsibility to Jews wherever they are. A dynamic, inspiring workshop that, through theater techniques, encourages participants to share their personal thoughts and feelings about their connection to the Jewish People, while sincerely listening to the thoughts, feelings, and stories of others in the group.

Habama theater develops plays and workshops relating to personal and community Jewish identity for over 20 years. We see every play and workshop as an opportunity for a lasting experience and a valuable discussion. Our sessions are based on understanding and bringing together, enabling all participants to express their Jewish identity while learning about the identity of others in the group. Habama plays and workshops manage to touch people’s hearts and inspire them to think differently. Our programs enable a dynamic dialogue between different groups and people, remove obstructions and promote acceptance.
