Academic Committee Online Lecture Series for Adults
In autumn 2021 a series of on-line one hour lectures will be provided. The lectures will include a variety of subjects given by lectures from the Western Galilee College and possibly universities in the US and Budapest..
A Shalom Hartman institute program, aims to train a group of 20 Israelis from the Western Galilee and 20 Americans from our Partnership cities, of Jewish and non-Jewish leaders and educators, to better understand their own tradition and that of the other through interfaith study of Jewish, Christian, and Muslim texts.
Three Joint online sessions,about 3 books during the year - these books will be chosen by the 3 champions of the program (from Israel, US and Budapest) On-going whatsapp group for conversation about the book while people are reading it.
Joint online learning session, facilitated by P2G Israel staff, including guest speaker, Gal Lusky, Founder of Flying Aid (offers crises aid to countries around the world.) Topic: Human Dignity Unique Family Event aroud the GDJL theme, with young Ethiopian Israeli sharing her personal journey both to Israel and within Israeli soceity. Best adopted for kids ages 7 and up, and open for schools and families alike.
Celebrating Rosh Hodesh with women from all cities of our Partnership. Getting to know one another by a joint short Limmud. Introducing women social or business entrepreneurs. Connecting all women of our partnership with an interactive Facebook page.
Together create virtual engagements during the year for medical staff, both new and veteran to the Partnership. The idea is to create a medical network, people to people society for future connections and programming
Opportunity to recruit non- Jewish Community Opinion Leaders from your communities for a unique Israel experience, primarily in the Western Galilee. Communities will send an accompanying staff or lay person. Communities are responsible for airfare of both participants.
